An Artist Entrepreneur Workshop
“Finance for the Creative Industry”
On Tuesday, March 11, at 6pm in room 330 of the Southeastern St. Tammany Center, 21454 Koop Drive, Mandeville, the St. Tammany Commission on Cultural Affairs and Southeastern Louisiana University Small Business Development Center will be present “Finance for the Creative Industry” the second of the Artist Entrepreneur Workshop series.
Susan Brunner will conduct the workshop on finance for the creative industry. The workshop is designed to help you define your business needs, identify your financial goals, and offer tips and tricks for financing your arts business. The class will teach you how to allocate resources properly, handle unforeseen complications, and make good business decisions.
Susan Brunner is the owner of Brunner Gallery in Covington and a second location in the Shaw Center for the Arts in Baton Rouge.Ms. Brunner is a member of the Louisiana State Arts Council, a position she has held since 2002, and Chair of the Advocacy Committee. She founded the Joint Cultural Economy Committee of the Chambers of Commerce. She serves on the Executive Committee for the Louisiana Partnership for the Arts and the Advisory Board for the West St. Tammany Chamber of Commerce. She has been an advocate for arts and cultural businesses in Louisiana with an emphasis on St. Tammany Parish.
